Tennis practice lasted 15 minutes. Tops. Maybe 10. Bummer.

Second time I've scraped my bsf Donna off the tennis court because of an injury. Wasn't the way I envisioned spending the afternoon. :(

How embarrassing. My MOM is picking me up from school. AND she's taking my picture. Ugh. I'm so embarrassed!

Shane is such a bright child. If he applied himself, and actually turned in his work on time (or at all), he would be a straight A student with no effort whatsoever. Ugh. He drives me crazy.

I love this coffee maker. Now I can drink my decaf cawfee and Ken can have his regular cawfee. Best invention ever.

I love preteen attitudes and the go-to-h-e-double-hockey-sticks look is just the icing on the cake. :/

Out with the old. In with the new.
While I was gone, Ken decided to go over and tell our neighbors Mike and Mary goodbye because they were moving out.
So being such great friends with them, he would naturally walk through the garage and right into the house to see them.
The problem is that he didn't realize that Mike and Mary had already moved out and this was the new neighbor's moving their stuff in and he walked right into the wife. And then proceeded to ask where Mike and Mary were.
He's awesome. And on top of things. :p
It didn't occur to him that it wasn't our friends' stuff even when he walked by the girls outside barbie bikes and electric cars. Or all of the cars and the motorcycle that are completely different from their cars. lol
I'm glad that I'm not the only blond in the family. :p

I love my little lephrechaun. He's the best. Well, except when he went and wrote all over everything with a sharpie and turned his toy bucket upside down because he wanted a lephrechaun to come to our house and he didn't.
I didn't love that part of my little lephrechaun!

Brown paper bags. It's the choice for field trips and for 6th graders who are too embarrassed to bring a regular lunchbox or lunch bag.
Until they then realize that their milk and apples got warm by lunch.
Then dad's lunch bag *was* cool!

Nothing better than "helping" with your kids school projects. Projects that are so hard that the adult has to basically do it because no 3rd grader could do it by themselves. Heck. An adult could barely do it by themselves. :/ Pulleys and levers. :/
Go Ken!
Go Ken!

Mary Mayken saves all of her school art projects for Aunt Kem.
Well, except for the one that she gave to her boyfriend Justin.
I'm not bitter about it or anything. Nope. Not at all.
I think that her teacher needs some new crafting ideas. ;)

Part of the Occupational Therapy at Owen's session with Stephanie.
He has so much fun with her. I think that he forgets that it's therapy.
I mean who wouldn't like to be suspended from the ceiling and swung all over the place?

Owen's best friend Marcus isn't allowed to play outside while his parents are not at home.
So they circumvent the rule and stand in the doorway and talk.
And talk. And talk. And talk.
But he's not playing outside with them so he didn't break any rules. :p

Shane and Owen's new business venture.
Trying to make money off of Shane's origami.
Apparently it worked because Ken bought them all for the convenient price of a new video game.

Kids backpacks on the floor where they came in after school.
Note his jacket beside the door.
Yeah. That's seems like an appropriate place for that stuff.
Kids. Sheesh.

Is there anything better than peanut butter and potato chip sandwich? I think not!
Thank you Rufus Hackett for teasing me relentlessly when I was little and getting me those sandwiches at the Elks Club rather than "real food." They are the bomb diggity!

I hate this intersection.
It's the intersection at the kids school that leads from the main road to a side road to get into the school.
And the reason that I hate it is not because of the intersection itself.
It's because of the stupid people that try to go left from the intersection during the rush hour.
While they're talking on their cell phones.
And it backs up traffic in every single direction.
The problem is that they have two other option to get out of the area that would be much easier and cause a lot less congestion.
But no. They sit at the stop sign, trying to turn left (and usually with no break in sight because that road is busy during the house that school is going into session) with traffic backing up in every single direction.
WHILE THEY ARE TALKING ON THEIR PHONES. And smoking and drinking coffee.
And then they give you dirty looks when you won't let them out.
Gah. I hate that intersection.

I bought Shane these "monkey outfit shoes" to wear to Joan's retirement party. I'm glad that I didn't waste the money because he will never wear them again.
And I didn't waste the money because they totally fit me and they are totally mine now. :)

The temperature in the garaged Beetle. Woohoo. This day last year, we were snowed in with two feet of snow. I like this better!
